Displays
digital signals from remote site(s).
Controls all peripherals connected to remote station. Controls pan, tilt, zoom and focus. Records pre- and post event image captures either on hard drive or with tape recorder. Affords multi-level operator access with password protection. Tracks system activity (i.e. log ins, log outs, pre- and post-alarm activities, operator access) using high capacity database. Prioritizes image queue handling based on preset programs. Rejects unauthorized access. Performs daily, weekly and holiday programs. Allows remote access for configuration and diagnosis of the remote Viewers. (Design and utility patent pending) Call or email us for more information: 301-567-1784
An
integrated series connection over the membrane
surface allows the sum of the individual voltages to
be drawn at the endplates. This principle
permits the desired space-saving, flat cell
construction to be combined with a high output
voltage. This can be adapted flexibly to the voltage
needed. Hydrogen
storage unit
To store hydrogen in
the smallest possible volume, we use the well known
procedure of hydride formation, one of the safest
methods. Even at low pressure, high storage
densities can be achieved with special metal
powders. In addition, this storage medium does not
suffer at all from self-discharge and can be
refilled with hydrogen many times.
State of
development
We have tested the
principle of construction a flat fuel cell using a
banded-structure membrane with a laboratory
prototype at Fraunhofer ISE. The electricity is
supplied to a laptop produced by the company Siemens
Nixdorf. The
membrane/electrode units, a vital component in the
banded-structure membrane cell, were fabricated by
the Hoechst Research and Technology company. The hydride storage
unit for the laptop was adapted to the specific
geometry of the appliance by the Gfe mbH company. What still has to
be done?
On the basis of the work done so far, further development
together with product and component
manufacturers is interesting for us in the following
fields:
· increase
of the power density
· miniaturizations
of all components
· design
for the integration in portable appliances
· smart
technology for a state-of-charge display for the
hydride storage unit
· development
to a product Future
perspectives
· We
consider the development of marketable products in
the power range up to about 10 W to be reasonable
and promising on the medium term.
· Developments
up to 100 W are conceivable on the longer term. Call or email us for more information: 301-567-1784 | |||||||||||||||
